The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) has announced a virtual "Pipe Bursting Good Practices Course". The society's events calendar lists it as an online training session held on Oct. 14-15, 2026.
What the course covers
Pipe bursting is one of the trenchless rehabilitation methods. It replaces an existing conduit with a new one of equal or larger diameter, while keeping excavation limited.
Over the year NASTT runs courses on selected trenchless techniques, among them CIPP, horizontal directional drilling and pipe bursting. The society stresses that its training material goes through review so that it stays grounded in industry consensus and free of advertising. Membership in NASTT brings discounts on, among other things, the good practices courses and the annual No-Dig Show, which the society describes as the largest trenchless technology conference in the world.
What the announcement says
The course announcement is a training event, not an investment project. The NASTT page gives the event name, its date and its format (a webinar). It does not describe the detailed programme of the individual sessions or a list of instructors.
The topic is close to the Polish trenchless sector in that pipe bursting is also used to rehabilitate gas and water networks.
