The Municipality of Łęczna (Gmina Łęczna) has announced a tender for the repair of the storm sewer network at the junction of Staszica and Stefanii Pawlak streets. The notice number is 2026/BZP 00449693/01, published on 22 September 2026. The procedure is run in the basic mode under Article 275(1) of the Public Procurement Law, and bids may be submitted electronically only.

Trenchless scope

The core of the works is the trenchless rehabilitation of concrete sewers using modular relining. The contracting authority specified that short modules of polypropylene PP or polyethylene PEHD with a minimum ring stiffness of SN16 will be used, and the annular space between the old sewer and the new liner will be filled with cement grout.

The scope covers three sections. Section S0-S1 is the rehabilitation of an existing DN400 concrete sewer with DZ355 modular pipes with a minimum internal diameter of 315 mm. Sections S0-S3 and S0-S4 are the rehabilitation of DN500 concrete sewers with DZ450 modular pipes with a minimum internal diameter of 400 mm.

Part of the works will be carried out by open-cut excavation. Section S0-S2 provides for the demolition of the old concrete sewer and the laying of a new PVC-U SN8 DN200 pipe on a sand bed with a slope change to a minimum of 5.0 per mille.

The task also includes the reconstruction of the central node S0 (chamber DN1500). The works in the chamber comprise cleaning, reprofiling of concrete defects with repair mortars, installation of an internal wall lining of PE-HD panels with a minimum thickness of 4-5 mm joined by extrusion welding, and the making of a wear-resistant invert lining of basalt panels. Internal cascade connections are provided for on the inflows from manholes S1 and S2, along with the installation of watertight penetration seals at the inlets and outlets of the sewers into the chamber.

Accompanying works

Among the accompanying works the contracting authority lists the preparation and implementation of a temporary traffic organisation design within the road corridor, ensuring continuity of sewage discharge through a temporary pumping bypass during the shutdown of the sewers being modernised, and hydrodynamic cleaning together with final CCTV television inspections of the sewers.

Participation conditions and deadlines

With regard to technical capability, the contracting authority requires, among other things, at least one work involving the repair or rehabilitation of pipelines by relining or cracking on collectors with a diameter of at least 300 mm. Experience in protecting concrete with protective coatings using PEHD panel lining is also required. The financial standing condition is funds or credit capacity of at least PLN 500,000.

The deadline for submitting bids is 7 October 2026 at 9:30. Bid opening is scheduled for the same day at 10:00, and the bid validity period expires on 5 November 2026. The bid evaluation criteria are price (60 per cent) and additional warranty period (40 per cent). The contract is to be performed by 18 December 2026.
